World Heavyweight Title Fight: Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder postponed to October 9- The highly-anticipated heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury vs Deontray Wilder has been postponed to October 9. The development comes as Fury has tested positive for COVID-19. The new dates were announced by the promoters on Thursday. T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will stay as the host for Fury vs Wilder fight. The already purchased tickets will be valid for the new date.

As per news agency AP, Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) and Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) were earlier scheduled to meet on July 24 to complete their entertaining fight trilogy.

Tyson Fury had tested positive earlier this month along with several members of his camp. He is currently in the US to prepare for the ultimate fight. The duo fought for a thrilling draw in LA in December 2018. Back then Wilder knocked down Fury twice to split the scorecards.

However, Fury avenged his defeat over Wilder in a rematch in February 2020. He knocked down Wilder twice. The latter has asked for a rematch after his loss. The arbitration judge ruled his decision in Wilder’s favour with Fury accepting the matchup.
