SEC Player of the Week – Florida guard Tre Mann, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound sophomore from Gainesville, Fla., averaged 20.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals in wins at Auburn and at Kentucky. Mann recorded his first career double-double with a 19-point, 13-rebound outing at Auburn. He scored 11 of the Gators final 20 points to close out the win at Kentucky and dropped in 14 of his 21 in the second half. Mann became the only Gator dating back to 1970 to lead the team outright in points and rebounds in back-to-back wins with both games on the road.
SEC Freshman of the Week – Arkansas guard Moses Moody, a 6-foot-6, 205-pound freshman from Little Rock, Ark., averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in wins against No. 6 Alabama and LSU. Moody set career highs in assists in both games (4 vs. UA and then 5 vs. LS). He was 16-of-19 at the line in leading Arkansas with 24 points against Alabama. Moody had 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists against LSU.
