Hope springs eternal across the NBA landscape during the preseason. Here are the most pressing questions for each franchise heading into the regular season.

That doesn’t mean it won’t be a breathtaking ride for fans around the league. There’s much to be learned as the regular season tip approaches. Read on to discover the biggest question facing each NBA team heading into the 2021-22 regular season

Boston Celtics: Who can seize the point guard position?

The Celtics know that Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown give them two All-Star level wings to work with on a nightly basis. The question in Beantown is who can set them up and get them the ball where they like it from the point guard position.

Marcus Smart will likely get the first opportunity to make the starting spot his own, but his inconsistent shooting ability and questionable playmaking chops could bog Boston’s halfcourt offense down. Don’t be shocked if Dennis Schroder finds a way to work his way into the starting five just because of the offensive pop he can provide with the ball in his hands. Finding the right way to balance these two different point guards will be Ime Udoka’s biggest challenge in his inaugural season as the Celtics’ head man.
