Earn 1,000 American Airlines Miles at Hyatt Hotels

Earn 1,000 American Airlines Miles at Hyatt Hotels

You can earn 1,000 American Airlines mile at Hyatt hotels. Unlike the previous 1,000 AA miles offer, this one is not targeted and is open to everyone.

When you stay at a participating Hyatt hotel in the US from November 1, 2021 through January 31, 2022, you’ll earn 1,000 American Airlines miles per stay.

Pro-tip: There is no limit to how many miles you can earn from this offer.

Aircraft, Aircrafts, American Airlines, plane, planes, Livery, Exterior

But you will only earn miles for the room you occupy per stay regardless of how many rooms you pay for.

Miles earned under this promotion are bonus miles and don’t count towards earning elite status with American.

Registration by December 15, 2021 is required.

You should register if you have plans to stay at Hyatt during the promotion period. You should register for this offer even if you don’t have any upcoming stays at Hyatt. Because your travel plans could change.

You have to link your accounts and your World of Hyatt account has to be set to earn Hyatt points to earn the 1,000 American Airlines miles for your Hyatt stay.

Pro-tip: Stays SLH hotels will not earn the 1,000 American Airlines miles.

The fine print doesn’t mention MGM resorts. I’m going to assume they are excluded because like SLH hotels they aren’t Hyatt hotels. I’m waiting to hear back from Hyatt for confirmation.

What You Should Know

If you have an overlapping stay that starts in 2021 and ends in 2022, your nights will post for 2022.

So if you check in on December 31, 2021 and check out on January 1, 2022, your night will count towards your 2022 World of Hyatt elite qualification.
